Retro WHO
Like many of you, I have been a member of this forum for many years (although I seldom post). Have a look what this website looked like thirteen years ago, September 2002. Interesting to see what the topics of discussion were (it was a blast from the past seeing the 'Online Management Games' thread).

http://web.archive.org/web/20020928175109/http://www.westhamonline.net/

Hope this link works, but if not, just bang in 'Internet time machine' on Google, then enter the WHO URL and Robert's your father's brother.

Online Management Games!
Dazman (12:24 9 Apr)
I play an online management game called Hattrick ( www.hattrick.org ) in my spare time during the day.

A few names on here are repeated in the game, and I know the unlikelyness of it, but was wondering if anyone else plays this as well?

Re: Retro WHO
Will have a trawl through that. It was me who made the claret & blue roundels for the refresh and new thread buttons ( i remember emailing them to Alex) and then it kinda got carried on into the existing logo we still have now.

wouldn't have that beige though or type.

I first signed up to this hovel - me, not this username - in 2003 (I think) so this is just before my time, but facia of the board brings back memories of the good old days when the forum was a resource for the few and the playground for the many, and you had to throw in an umlaut to get through the swear filter, you fùcking cuñts.

Younger readers may not remember the gank/heron story. It was stuff legends are made of (on WHO anyway).

Re: Retro WHO
Ha ha, The Prof

I gave him a sample of a tastey right fist, wasn't it?

He reckoned two young blokes sitting behind him at a game clocked who he was and got lippy so he dealt out a bit of casual violence.
